The King Valley produce some lovely, cool climate Sauvignon. Finding perfect balance is tricky with this variety, where the desire is for delicately herbaceous flavours rather than grassiness, and that’s a talent these growers are known for. The 2024 vintage in the King Valley was low yielding but dry, providing some lovely Sauvignon Blanc fruit with filigree citrus and passion fruit characters over a fresh savoury core. It finishes lean, ultry-dry and long.
